Leadership Profiles
Scott Smith : President & CEO
Scott attended both Harvey Mudd College and the University of Toledo, graduating with a Ph.D. in Physics. After exploring a career in academics and receiving research awards such as the Thomas Benjamin Brown Memorial Physics Research Award, Scott left the world of academia and joined Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corporation. At OCF, he held various positions in information systems, sales and marketing, finance, purchasing, and strategic planning. In his last position with OCF, he ran a $150 million transportation and logistics group for the Construction Products Group.In 1990, Scott left OCF and co-founded TGI with Dennis Schmedlen. Today, Scott remains an active member of TGI’s staff by leading both the overall company direction and by staying actively engaged in various levels of customer activity.
Matt Reineke : Vice President of Consulting Services
Matt attended Ashland University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Accounting. Matt spent the first five years of his career in the automotive aftermarket industry distributing driveline components. Matt’s supply chain experience expanded into the building supply industry when he started working with Therma-Tru Door Corporation. Over the course of a ten year span with Therma-Tru, Matt held several supply chain management positions including Director of Supply Chain Management, Plant Manager, and Business Manager.In 2008, Matt joined TGI where he began leading Enterprise 21 implementation projects as a project manager. His experience in supply chain management and lean manufacturing helps TGI customers implement Enterprise 21 while leveraging best practices and taking advantage of Enterprise 21’s scope of software functionality. Today, Matt oversees TGI’s technical support and project management groups.
Bob Goldstine : Vice President of New Technology
Bob attended Bowling Green State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. Bob immediately began his tenure with TGI as an intern and has remained an active member of the staff ever since. From his start in 1990, Bob has held various positions in technical support, system design, project management, and sales support.Currently, Bob is responsible for managing TGI’s new technology development. He specializes in leading the development of new Enterprise 21 features and functional modules. In recent years, Bob led the development and execution of Enterprise 21’s integrated business intelligence, dashboards, and workbench technologies.
